“Alex & Jacques are top quality musicians, and such nice guys, they were the perfect addition to our big day! They readily accommodated our request for an acoustic guitar set on the lawn, as well as a full set-up indoors for after-dinner dancing, creating the perfect mood for both, and they were happy to take requests and were very generous with encores. No prima donnas here! Alex got in touch as promised, one month before our event. Their set-up time was fitted in around our own requirements for the space, and was a stress-free experience. If you are thinking of booking them and you like to party and have fun, don't hesitate. I would book them again in a heartbeat!”

“…according to one of our guests (to which we were a little offended I have to admit!) Alex & Jacques are talented musicians with a great set list of absolute bangers. They give you a full band sound with 2 guitars, 2 voices including amazing harmonies and a stomp box. The dance floor was jam packed the whole evening - they read the audience perfectly and selected the perfect songs to keep us all dancing! Communication before the day was great as we had opportunity to let them know which songs we liked and also our first dance song choice - which they played live for us at no additional cost. On the evening they were flexible to late running time but sadly they couldn’t play “one more song” despite chanting (and in some cases begging) from the audience as the pubs licence only ran until midnight! Would totally recommend! Thank you so much to you both!”

“Our wedding band cancelled 2 days before the big day due to covid. In a state of panic I rang around and Alive network found Alex and Jacques for us. Having had no time to get to know the band and talk about what to play we were worried…we needn’t be! They absolutely smashed it. In the afternoon Alex and Jacques mingled with guests in the garden playing acoustically and in the evening played a more upbeat set and our guests loved it! Perfect mix of indie/rock/pop and some Motown thrown in had everyone singing and filling the dancefloor. Would highly recommend this guys and can’t thank you enough for saving the day adding to an incredible wedding!”
